Solid Ground is run by [COMPANY NAME] LTD ("we"). This page says what we collect, why, where it goes and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a password (stored hashed). Optionally your first name.
- Your plan inputs: age, sex, height, weight, goal, target weight, training days and location, experience, dietary needs. The app needs these to build your plan.
- What you log: food, workouts, weigh-ins, measurements, photos, soreness and injury flags.
- Steps, if you connect Health Connect: see the section below.
- Support messages you send from inside the app, with your app version.
- Device data: a device identifier so your data syncs between the app and your account. No advertising identifiers.
What we don't do
No ads, no ad tracking, no selling or sharing of data for marketing. No analytics on this website.
Health Connect
If you choose to connect Health Connect, Solid Ground reads your daily step count and nothing else. It is read-only: the app never writes to Health Connect. Steps are shown as a number on your home screen; the app never sets a step target. Your step count is stored with the rest of your data in your account so it shows on all your devices, and is deleted with your account. You can disconnect at any time in Settings or in Health Connect itself; disconnecting stops the reading immediately. Step data is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with anyone.
Where it's stored
On your phone first, then synced to your account hosted by Supabase in [SUPABASE REGION]. Food search uses the UK CoFID dataset and Open Food Facts; a search sends the search term, not your account.
Why we process it
To run the app and show you your plan (contract), to answer support messages (legitimate interest), and, for Health Connect, because you connected it (consent, withdrawn by disconnecting).
Children
The app is not for anyone under 13. People aged 13 to 17 may use it with a plan that never includes a calorie deficit.
Your rights
Export everything you've logged (Settings → Export my data). Delete your account and all its data (Settings → Delete account; it is immediate). Ask us to correct or delete data at support@solidgroundfitness.co.uk. UK and EU users can complain to their data protection authority.
Keeping it
While your account exists. Deleted immediately when you delete the account.

We'll update the date above and show a notice in the app.
